Some places you visit. Others, you feel. Agra is one of those rare cities where the moment you arrive, something inside you pauses. Maybe it’s the gentle pull of the Yamuna River or the way the Taj Mahal rises from the earth like a dream you’ve somehow stepped into.

Yes, the Taj Mahal is on every list. But there’s a reason for that. Seeing it in person especially at sunrise when the sky blushes over the white marble is unlike anything else. But the real beauty lies in how you experience it. With our Agra tour packages, you’re not just standing in front of a monument. You’re hearing the love story behind every curve, every calligraphy, every whisper of white stone. You’re standing where poets once stood, hearts full. That’s the kind of travel we believe in—personal, meaningful, rich with memory.
Agra is more than the Taj Mahal. Walk into the massive red sandstone embrace of Agra Fort and imagine emperors pacing its walls. Let the silence of Fatehpur Sikri speak to you, telling tales of abandoned dreams and architectural genius. These aren’t just photo ops. They’re places that move you, that make history feel real.
And then there are the everyday corners, the marble artisans in their workshops, the scent of cardamom in old markets, the chai stalls where time slows down. Our Agra tour packages are designed to take you to those, too.
We’ve seen it happen time and again: travelers come to Agra for the Taj, and leave with so much more. It’s in the way the city lingers with you. In how the sunsets look a little softer. In the stories you find yourself telling weeks after you’re back home.
That’s the beauty of Agra. And that’s the kind of travel we’re here to offer.
One of the seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal is located on the banks of River Yamuna in Agra. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. Constructed entirely out of white marble in the 17th century, Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful monuments in the world. Every year visitors numbering more than the entire population of Agra pass through the magnificent gates to catch a glimpse of this breathtaking monument!
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Taj Mahal stands for the Crown of Palaces in the Persian language. The tomb is laid out in a rectangular shape and can be approached through a massive gateway which has an arch and alcoves on either side of it. There are water channels and fountains in the entrance which makes the monument even more spectacular. The reflection of this majestic spectacle in the Yamuna is almost poetic in its perfection!
Covering an area of approximately 42 Acres, the construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631 and it took 17 years before it was completed in 1648! It was constructed using white marble obtained from Makrana in Rajasthan.
Also known as Lal Qila, Fort Rouge or Red Fort of Agra, the Agra Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is situated at a distance of about 2.5km northwest of the famous Taj Mahal. The construction of the massive fort of red sandstone by the banks of Yamuna river was started by emperor Akbar.

Often referred to as the "Baby Taj Mahal", the tomb of Itimad-ud-daulah is a Mughal mausoleum and often regarded as a copy of the Taj Mahal. This is the first tomb in India made entirely of marble. The tomb was commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mir Gheyas Beg (later known as Itimad-ud-daulah), who was a minister in the court of Shah Jahan.
Mehtab Bagh is a charbagh garden complex and one of the last Mughal gardens in Agra. It is located just north to the Taj Mahal and overlooks the Agra Fort and Yamuna river on the opposite side. Perfectly aligned with the gardens of Taj Mahal, Mehtab Bagh provides a picture-perfect view of the Taj from the fountain at the front of the entrance gate. It is a popular sunset spot among the photography fanatics and nature enthusiasts.
Gurudwara Guru Ka Taal, located near Sikandra in Agra, is a revered Sikh pilgrimage site commemorating the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. This sacred place marks the spot where Guru Tegh Bahadur voluntarily surrendered to Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1675, standing firm against religious persecution. Originally constructed as a reservoir in 1610 during Emperor Jahangir's reign to conserve rainwater, the site was transformed into a gurudwara in the 1970s through the dedicated efforts of Sant Baba Sadhu Singhji "Mauni" .
Agra is primarily known for its monuments, forts, palaces and mausoleums, but, hidden behind these architectural wonders are the traditional shopping centres and bazaars. It is home to some of the finest handicraft and artefacts markets. The shopping scene in Agra is buzzing with markets, department stores, retail outlets and local bazaars.
The Tomb of Akbar is an important and iconic Mughal architectural masterpiece, built in 1605 and 1613. It is located at Sikandra, in the suburbs of Agra, on the Mathura road (NH2), 8 km west of the city core. About a km away from the tomb, lies Mariam's Tomb, the tomb of Mariam-uz-Zamani, wife of the Mughal Emperor Akbar and the mother of Jahangir.
Jama Masjid at Agra also known as 'Friday Mosque' is a seventeenth-century structure and is one of the largest mosques built by the Mughals in India. Constructed under the reign of Shah Jahan in 1648, Jama Masjid is dedicated to his favourite daughter Jahan Ara Begum. This splendid monument is visible from the Agra Fort with the Agra Fort Railway station right between the two structures.
Shish Mahal, also known as the Glass Palace, is a stunning example of Mughal architecture located within the Agra Fort complex. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century, this palace was used as a royal summer retreat and a private space for the empress and her attendants. The walls and ceilings are richly decorated with intricate mirror work—tiny pieces of glass embedded into the stucco to create dazzling patterns that reflect light, giving the palace its name.
